Hillary Delegate in Anguish

How many women feel this way?

Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) addresses the DNC

Hillary's Speech

This is a paragraph from the blog "Hullabaloo".

"I also think this campaign may have been a crucible for her in that she rediscovered her feminist roots. An awful lot of progressive women did. It wasn't so much because of a commitment or loyalty to Hillary Clinton herself but rather an unexpected and stunning realization that sexism still runs so close to the surface in our culture. Hillary didn't lose because of sexism but her campaign certainly exposed it. And it's had an effect on a lot of women. Certainly, last night, some of Michelle Obama's biggest applause lines had to do with women's equality (and it didn't just come from Hillary supporters.) Clinton's grandest achievement in this campaign may have been to raise that awareness --- and hopefully she will use her position as the most powerful woman in the US Senate to advance the cause".

Holier Than Thou

Here is what John Edwards said about Bill Clinton, regarding Clinton's infidelity on Feb. 12, 1999:

I think this President has shown a remarkable disrespect for his office, for the moral dimensions of leadership, for his friends, for his wife, for his precious daughter. It is breathtaking to me the level to which that disrespect has risen.

Edwards also said the affair had ended, yet The National Enquirer caught him in a hotel room with his mistress and her baby just last week. What was he doing there if the affair was over and the baby wasn't his?? Enquiring minds want to know!

John Edwards -- What If?

What if ... John Edwards had been the democratic nominee? He was asking people for money for his campaign, telling people that he was the best qualified to win the election. What a joke. We can breathe a sigh of relief that this selfish, short sighted individual didn't win the primary. His affair would have been exposed, then John McSame would be a shoe in. He didn't give a toss about the democratic party. As for his cheating on his terminally ill wife -- no comment!

Britain From Above

The BBC has a fascinating video of Britain, taken from a satellite.

Britain from above.

Obama -- Count Florida And Michigan

Are you kidding me? Now -- when it doesn't count, Obama sends a letter to the DNC (Do Not Count) committee, asking that they count all of Florida and Michigan's delegates at the convention. How insulting is this. If the voter's don't vote for him, then he is the king of voter suppression!

Then, to add insult to injury, Florida Democratic Party Chairwoman Karen Thurman said, "Today is a proud day for all of us who fought so hard to ensure Floridians votes are fully counted." A proud day Karen? What would a shameful day look like?

Here is the article.

Pelosi Voices Her Pick For VP

Nancy Pelosi is now pushing an unknown Congressman from Texas, as Obama's VP. His name is Chet Edwards -- never heard of him, right? Apparently, Pelosi thinks this cowboy is more qualified to be VP than Hillary Clinton. Nancy needs to stop talking, it will make her look more intelligent. If you want to read the whole story, it's here Texas Congressman.
